How do I register for a PhD?

Registration for a PhD

There's nothing complicated about it: you just need a Master's 2 + the REM Master's degree, and you'll be accepted for your thesis, either by finding a thesis director to accompany and support you in your doctoral adventure! Or by passing the doctoral contract competition.

Then you'll need to go to the EDEG website (doctoral school) to put together your registration file. The MRM laboratory in Montpellier will then check your file and send it to EDEG for scientific validation.

Finally, the Research and doctoral studies department will arrange a meeting to validate your administrative registration.

Good to know: Thesis subjects are generally published in January. On the other hand, doctoral offers have an application deadline between April and May, for the start of the academic year in September of the same year.
