Climate

Montpellier has a Mediterranean climate, with mild, wet winters, and very warm, dry summers. It is considered the sunny capital of France, as there is an average of 300 sunny days per year. The weather in June is generally sunny and pleasant, with a daily mean temperature of 21oC (70oF).

You can get around Montpellier and the surrounding area by tramway, bus, bicycle, two-wheeled vehicles, foot, tourist train, rental car and taxi.
